About Dhyanashrama

Dhyanashrama is a Jesuit Ignatian Retreat Centre nestled in the serene outskirts of Bangalore, offering a tranquil sanctuary for spiritual renewal and personal growth. Founded on the principles of St. Ignatius of Loyola, our mission is to provide a conducive environment for individuals and groups to experience profound encounters with God through silent retreats and spiritual exercises. Our dedicated team of Jesuit priests and experienced spiritual directors are committed to accompanying retreatants on their journey, offering guidance, counselling, and a listening ear.

We believe in the transformative power of silence and solitude, which are central to the Ignatian dynamics practiced here. While our primary focus is on Ignatian retreats, we also welcome other groups and individuals seeking a quiet space for reflection and prayer, provided they adhere to the spirit of silence that pervades our centre. Our aim is to be a beacon of spiritual light, fostering a deeper relationship with the Divine and promoting inner peace in a world often filled with noise and distraction.
